Empower Network Donates $66,400 To Austin Habitat For Humanity

Empower Network, during it’s Release Your Inner Badass Event in Austin, TX donated $66,400 to the Austin Habitat For Humanity.  As part of it’s new program to donate to local chapters of the organization in each city that Empower Network hosts its conferences in addition to their home offices in St. Petersberg, FL, the company is honored to be able to give back to local communities across the country.

Empower Network, a viral blogging service with 80,000+ customers held it’s quarterly event at the Hilton Austin hotel on January 18, 19 & 20, 2013 with approximately 4,000 attendees.  In order to raise money for the Austin Habitat For Humanity branch, the company held it’s first auction that received bids from $500 all the way up to $15,000 for items like posters, jackets, business trainings and entrepreneur mastermind retreats on exotic island getaways.

As an added bonus for Austin Habitat For Humanity, Empower Network provided a 100% match to all donations received from the auction closing bids, doubling the $33,200 in winning auction sales to $64,400.

Attendees, especially myself, where excited to participate in the auction, give to an amazing organization and proud to have Empower Network match their donations.  In addition to the auction process, attendees also donated in private envelopes to Austin Habitat For Humanity.
