Raising Keyword Rank in Google

Keyword rank in google

Sometimes it’s a struggle when it comes to raising keyword rank in Google,

and it can be absolutely disheartening to put all your effort into raising your chosen keyword up to the first page on Google,

but for it only to reach page two or three and refuse to budge any further no matter how much work you put into it.  This is a common effect of pursuing keywords with too much competition….

When you use a keyword tool like Google’s AdWords Keyword Tool; you’ll be bound to find plenty of keywords that have substantial competition.

You have to realize that the results you’re seeing have also been viewed by thousands of other aspiring Internet marketers and online businesses owners

so the marketers who have large budgets to pay teams of search engine optimizers are going to be the ones who’re raising keyword rank in Google for the most brutally competitive

keywords….

Aiming For The Long-Tailed Keyword Rank In Google

Long-tailed keywords are usually going to be very niche keywords with low competition, and low competition is exactly what you want when you’re either first starting out or have little to no advertising and marketing budget….

Using a tool such as Google AdWords Keyword Tool is ideal when doing keyword research, so finding long-tailed keywords with lower competition shouldn’t take too long….

..If you need an example, consider the phrase “make money online”.

That might be a keyword with more aggressive competition, so a more specific keyword that’s still related with LESS competition might be something like “make money online while sitting at home in your pyjamas”.

That keyword was particularly long, but it’s almost certain they competition for

it is far weaker than that of a more general word like “make money”, or “make money online”, so going after keywords with weaker competition will make raising keyword rank in Google both easier and faster….

Utilizing Latent Semantic Indexing

Keyword rank in google

To use proper latent semantic indexing (LSI) means to include related keywords within your blog post or article that are related to your primary keywords. So if you’re using “make money online” as a keyword then related keywords that would be considered LSI keywords

might include “make money on the Internet”, “make money on the web”, “earn income at home”, and so on.

Latent semantic indexing can contribute heavily to raising keyword rank of your website, since Google sees the articles on your website,

recognizes their primary keywords, and sees that they’ve got plenty of

RELATED keywords included as well.

If you only optimize an article for a single keyword then you’re greatly undermining the power of the article…

Not only will having proper latent semantic indexing contribute to improving the power of your primary keyword

in the eyes of Google, but it could be raising keyword rank for the LSI keywords as well. This means that you’re more likely to attract visitors through search engines that are for more keywords besides.

your primary ones.

You’re doing the same amount of work for even better results.  Better results means more visitors, and more visitors – so long as they’re treated properly – can translate to greater income…
