July 16, 2013

DENVER – Software and web marketing company Empower Network will bring 6,000 attendees and a projected $8.6 million local economic impact to Denver for its quarterly affiliate conference at the Bellco Theater at 700 14th St. on July 19-21.

During the conference, Empower Network will make a $10,000 donation to the local Denver community; unveil Empower Network 2.0 (EN2), its new blogging platform; recognize top direct sales affiliates who collectively earned over $12 million in quarterly commissions and bonuses; and provide training for its affiliates.

The company invested more than $3.2 million on Empower Network 2.0 (EN2), its new blogging platform that it predicts will rival WordPress, TypePad and Tumblr, among other popular blogging systems. In Chicago, at its second-quarter 2013 conference, the company and its 4,200 attending affiliates donated $33,000 to the American Red Cross to support the Boston Marathon Bombing victims. In Austin, at its first-quarter 2013 conference, the company and its 3,200 attending affiliates donated $66,000 to Austin Habitat for Humanity.

Tyler Adams, corporate citywide sales manager for Visit Denver, The Convention & Visitors Bureau says he’s glad Empower Network chose to host its quarterly affiliate training conference in Denver. “We are thrilled to have Empower Network and the opportunity to showcase our city to thousands of attendees,” Adams said. “We know the event will be first-class and hope everyone has a chance to experience our warm western hospitality.”

According to Visit Denver’s economic impact calculator, the Empower Network conference will have a local economic impact of $8,565,600.
