The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Review

Educational
If you are Sociology or Psychology major, these shows highlight dysfunction. This season it seems as if something is missing. I think last season they enjoyed the camera and the appearance of being rich. This season the economy is kicking their a**es. I believe they are getting paid especially through other avenues like personal appearances. etc. Kyle: Is unemployed. Her husband is a real estate broker(?). He lives on commission. With a failing economy, who’s purchasing million dollar homes? Lisa: is a small business owner. They recently sold their home and moved into a smaller one. Taylor: is unemployed. Her husband was dabbling in investments. Before his suicide it was revealed that they are nearly bankrupt. Kim: is unemployed and living in home rentals. She’s a substance abuser that seems to always be flying. Those substances help her cope with her family, loneliness, and the show. Adrienne: another entrepreneur. Last season she stated that she was cutting back in many areas due to the failing economy. I’m not sure why they always film her at home instead of working. Is this to give the appearance of a successful housewife? Camille: is seeking employment as a result of her divorce from her husband. I suspect Camille is aware that she will not be able to afford the same lifestyle and is doing whatever it takes to make a living on her own. -Each time I watch this show, I am grateful for what I have.
Why did Kyle get lip injections???
They look hideous! She can’t even close her mouth completely. I wonder if her husband likes them. I guess after a nose job (did anyone see how HUGE her schnoz was?!), botox and who knows what else, at this point, she might as well continue the fakery. What ever happened to relying on one’s personality to attract others?
Wow – I used to detest Camille….
now I can’t STAND Taylor. She is the most self-centered disgusting person ever! Runs into a boutique to tell Kyle she has seen Cedric. Then Ken makes a comment about how HE would feel going to therapy and she’s in the bathroom pouting. I don’t say this lightly but RIP Russell. I know he may have beat her and there’s no excuse for that but jesus she seems like an evil, thoughtless woman. That aside -Paul is adorable though a little ADD and Adrienne needs to lighten up on him. Seriously.
I have enjoyed most of the episodes of this show, but this was a downer. Maybe, because I am getting to use to the show–I don’t know. I usually like Adrienne and Paul, but what did he do to cause Adrienne to get so annoyed with him? And the dog at the dinner table was disgusting and rude! Ugh!
It is so sad about Taylor’s husband, but she was way off base with Ken. All Ken did was to give only HIS opinion about getting therapy for your marriage.
I thought Bernie, Adrienne’s chef was hilarous!
