How to Uncover Your Prospects Needs and Wants
To present your mlm opportunity well to prospects you need to understand your prospects needs and wants.
Believe it or not, your prospects need help. They don’t know how to get from point A, where they are currently, to point B, where they want to be financially.
Do you know how I know this?
I know, because a prospect who wants to earn more money or wants more time and freedom needs to be educated by YOU to achieve this because, evidently, they don’t know how to do it on their own.
If they did know how to make it happen, they would have already accomplished it, and they wouldn’t be sitting there listening to your presentation or putting their phone number to be contacted by you.
Majority of people who i speak with are destroying their mlm presentations and are struggling to sign new reps because they always do one thing wrong
They jump in too quickly and start discussing the business.
This is a false move and here is why…
Your prospects who evidently does not know about the business most often times is not ready for the information about the business yet.
If you are receiving more NOs than YESes with all the leads that you get, it may be because your presentations starts past the prospects knowledge.
I see many people make this huge mistake in their video presentations about their opportunity and company and yet we wonder why 97% of Network Marketers are struggling. In these videos on thing is always common, the CEO start off the video telling the listeners who the company is and all the things they have that will benefit a person who decides to become a distributor with their company…. BAD BAD BAD
The problem with this i repeat again is that were the company starts their presentation is NOT where the prospect is at in their knowledge of the business.
The company wrongly start their presentation “assuming” that the prospects know what business is, knows what makes a good business, knows the component of a good compensation plan, and knows what M.L.M is and how it works.
If you would really inspect this you will see that most companies create M.L.M presentations that targets the WRONG PROSPECT i.e. for someone who is already in M.L.M and understands how it works.. This is INCORRECT.
Why?
Because that is not your target audience.
Your Target audience is an EMPLOYEE because that is where the largest people who join M.L.M come from. An employee DOES NOT understand business ownership or how to evaluate what is being said on the video.
To be effective, the presentation needs to back up several steps and you must start by presenting and talking at the prospects level. You should always merge your business opportunity to your prospects when he or she understands what you are sharing with them and not before…
A perfect example of making your prospect understand the industry and the value of what you are sharing with them is to direct them to watch this video first, done by Tim Sales-a professional presenter, that explains to a prospect about what the Network Marketing is all about in a clear and understandable manner.
Educating your prospect first is a crucial step in sponsoring them into business. Always remember that they need your help and the best way to help them is to give them a road map and understanding of what building a business is all about and how your company can help them achieve that easily with your help.
Again always use a third party tool like the video here. Send the prospect to watch this video and then call you back when they are done.
After they watch this video i assure you that your presentation will flow easily without much objections.
