Trust In The Power of Pursuit

Everybody looks like a failure in the middle
I don’t know who you are and I don’t know if what I am going to share with you will resonate like it does with me today. As I am typing, I imagine that you are someone who is on the journey to become a better you. I am sure that you know in your heart that you are destined to do great things. If you don’t, I am here to tell you that you are.
You have dreamed many dreams that were yours for the taking. In fact, all of them were well within your reach. Even now, most of what you dream of can be yours.
What is the power of pursuit? Most people confuse wishing and wanting with pursuing.
The core of the power of pursuit is the belief that success is not something that happens one step at a time, as a long and slow journey. Rather it is something that happens so fast, that you’ll wonder why it wasn’t there before.
In pursuit there is no questioning “if” your dream will happen. No, you’ve made a decision that it will…no matter what. I don’t know what it will take for you to believe in yourself enough so that you feel like it is your birthright to have what you request from life, and that it can happen within a 90 day period.
Up until not too long ago, I couldn’t imagine myself having what I truly wanted. I kept on working at minial jobs when I knew in my heart that I had gifts and talents that could be explored and shared. But I was a coward. I bought the story that was on television, the radio, my relative’s stories and even worse, the story I told myself about who I was.
I don’t know when exactly I got my swagger, but I know I have it now. I wish I could just take this certainty that now lives in me and give to you .
I was listening to the Costa Rica Mastermind Intensive the other day and this guy was telling the 2 rules of success.
- Don’t fuck around
- Stop being a wussy
Isn’t it true?!
Let me ask you, let’s go back at the time, about 100 years ago when the Wright Brothers tried building the first airplane. Imagine a time when nobody had ever seen a plane in the sky. If you would have asked a 1000 people if they believed it was possible for human to create a machine that flies in the sky….how many of them would have said yes?
About 1% right?! The whole world was laughing and ridiculing them for attempting something that ridiculous. But you know what? They did it anyway. And now we enjoy the freedom of flying at 850 km/h, 32000 feet in the air.
That is the power of pursuit my friend. This is something in you so strong that it won’t stop when the world thinks you’re crazy or wasting your time. It is that inner desire to be living the life you want to live, whatever it is.
I hope to see you on the beaches of the world,
Your friend,
Renaud
