Passive Income Ideas

Powerful passive income ideas that will top up your monthly income…or even replace your full-time income…

The passive income ideas that I will go over in this post are concerned with setting up an online system that you earn regular money from…without having to do any work!

With a regular job you exchange your time for money.

With a regular job you are limited by the amount of hours in the day.

With online passive income streams, you set-up a system and earn a regular income from it with minimal extra work.

Here are some passive income ideas to get you started…

1. Affiliate Marketing

Most passive income ideas involve some sort of affiliate marketing.

This is where you promote someone else’s product on your website.

When someone clicks on your link (your affiliate link) and then goes on to purchase the product then you receive a percentage of the sale as an affiliate marketer.

So once you have your website containing your affiliate links ranked highly on Google, you should see a nice stream of commissions coming in with minimal extra effort on your part.

I started off my affiliate marketing journey with a company called Clickbank, where you can promote a range of digital information products.

A good place to start is to pick a product and try to rank your website on the front page of Google for the keyword ‘product name’ and the keyword ‘product name review’.

This means that you should get a few regular commissions coming in by people whom already know about the product and are thus searching for it on Google.

This “review site” method, whilst not being the primary focus of an affiliate marketer, adds a nice bit of passive income to your monthly earnings.

2. Creating A Monthly Membership Site

Instead of going for one-off affiliate sales, to step it up to the next level you could set-up your own membership site, for which you charge a monthly fee.

With a monthly fee, your passive income will be solid and regular and you can plan how many members you will need to achieve your monthly income target.

It is also easier to do that you may think.

You can purchase special Membership Site templates and scripts to use to set-up your membership site. Or simply set-up a private password protected area of a WordPress blog that only paying members get access to it.

You can just manually change the password each month if you don’t want to use any special membership software.

The sort of thing you might include on a membership site would be regular content such as informative articles, interviews with experts in the industry, video tutorials, or regular services or content that you provide people.

Whatever you do, getting into the mindset of earning a recurring monthly income with your efforts is definitely the way to go.

3. Online Network Marketing

Here is my favourite passive income idea!

Online network marketing is what this blog is all about!

What you do is instead of selling products as an affiliate, you get people to join you in a network marketing scheme via your affiliate link.

You can then work together, because the more money the people you sign-up makes the more money that you make! The income is often recurring on a monthly basis as well.

That is what happens on Empower Network.

You sign-up and get access to your own private blog (just like this one) along with special membership training.

You pay $25 a month to the affiliate that referred you and one in every 5 sales you make also passes up to that affiliate.

Then the same thing happens when you sign people up.

You make one referral to get the system for free…everything after that is monthly profit.

When your referrals then go onto make commissions themselves, some of these will be passed back up to yourself.

Recurring passive income, anyone?!

Whatever method you go for, I hope this post has got some cool passive income ideas floating about in your head!

All the best everyone,

Adam
