Hi folks, today I’m going to talk to you about network marketing and the principal of attraction marketing. The phrase was coined by a man named Mike Dillard. He is the founder of Magnetic Sponsoring, a lead generation system that has made many people in the home business industry very successful.

Basically, attraction marketing is attracting people to you instead of you chasing them all over the place, hanging out in malls, passing out business cards, cold calling, hard selling. These methods still work if done properly, and you have the right personality type and loads of confidence and persistence. However, there are better and more effective ways to greatly increase your success at the prospecting game.

What you need to do is to position yourself as an expert in your field. This is not as hard as it seems. With some research into the mindset of your prospects, find out what it is they want. What problems and challenges are they facing? Help them to avoid pain and seek pleasure. When you have found their hot buttons, give away something of value that addresses their particular problem in exchange for their name and email address. Email them regularly. Every day. Yes. every day. Remember to give great content and value and then let them know you are in a home business and have a few, limited spots available for you to coach some folks on how to make some extra money from their own home based business.

So there you have it. Attract people to you by being genuine, helpful and caring. Help them avoid pain and be a friend. You’ll be on your way to a full time income in the network marketing industry. Something that most do not achieve.

Yes, I am still terrible on the phone and I know that if I ever want to go to the next level in my business and personal life, I must conquer my fears. I put off calling again yesterday because my wife and I went out to dinner. Good excuse right? NOT! Tomorrow’s another day. I’ll do it then for sure.
