Color Kindle, New Hot Item

The very first Color Kindle to be launched is finally available for purchase, the Kindle Fire. Why do they call this E-reader Color? This device comes equipped with 16 million colors so anything you watch or read is going to be bold and precise with its color. However, the new Kindle 4 is technically going to be the first Color Kindle to be launched, even though we do not know the release day yet.
LCD VS E-Ink Color Kindle
The reason there is a delay in the launch of the Kindle 4 is because they haven’t quite perfected the color pallet that the Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, wants it to be. The sounds of that many colors sounds good but what most of you consumers out there do not realize is that when you have that amount of color it messes with the back light features. The back lit feature is what makes it so easy to read on the Kindle regardless of the lighting you are in. Right now if the E-Ink Color Kindle launched there would be difficult seeing it in the sunlight.
Quite a few Kindle owners do not understand what all the hype is with color since the majority of text is black and white but with the launch of the new Kindle Fire, people aren’t just reading on them anymore. Some Kindles offer you access to not just the Kindle store, but also other markets where you can download apps, games and more. This is where the color really comes into play because you want to watch and play these things with color.
People are beginning to suggest that Amazon just release an LCD Color Kindle but that will also have the issue of being used in bright lit areas. The Kindle became so popular because people could sit on the beach or on their front porch and read a good book. They could also curl up next to a fire in a dim lit room and still be able to read it just as good. Now however, with the need of color for the new additional features of the Kindle that feature is being threatened.
Luckily, you have the options of purchasing the non Color Kindle still so you can enjoy your reading material exactly how you want to. There are no doubt many people who will welcome the color option when it finally launched but Amazon is making it clear that there will always be a Kindle for everyone, included the simple.
When will the Color Kindle come out?
Unfortunately there have been no announcements by Amazon as to the release date yet so we will just have to sit back and wait. In the mean time there are 7 different Kindle models available you can buy that have their own really special features and functions. Who knows, you may even find you would rather have a current model than wait in line for the Color Kindle to finally be released.
