There was an excellent article in Techcrounch about cities good for starting business. In the chart, Tokyo is smaller than sesami seed! Anyway it has an interesting post about a new ranking for the world’s top 25 startup ecosystems, ordered by their average throughput. It also has reasons in detail why the top cities do well.

The interpretative analysis by Start-Up Genome reveals astonishing results with emerging markets appearing higher on the list that some might expect. Here’s the cities in the list in order:
