The conference is over.
Is it time to go back home and
let the excitement level slowly wane
and come back down to earth?
Hell No! Don’t be a Wussy!

And what a crazy conference that was!
Very much unlike anything I have experienced
in Amway, Monavie, and ACN.

One speaker actually wore a suit.
That’s right. ONE speaker.
The company lawyer.
He just couldn’t help it.
Would’ve been out of his comfort zone
without the suit.
But he made up for it with his great talk
which was free of legal-speak.

DW wore his shorts and tshirt.
DS had jeans and shirt plus vest
The lovely Tracey Walker was simply, lovely, and
tough, able to walk on broken glass
don’t be a wussy support for the 2D’s.
Other speakers were all casually dressed.

But they all passed on the same message.
The system does work.
You don’t have to be a guru to succeed
in the Empower Network business.

But as a conference.
It was wild
It was crazy.
It was badass.
It was an eye-opener.
It proved we can all succeed.
Without guru status
Without a big list.
Without blogging expertise.
Without traditional networking experience.

2 more homeless sods unearthed

We thought the 2 D’s were the only homeless examples.
But we were wrong.
Amongst the high earning achievers
we unearthed 2 more homeless badasses.
Kris Darty and Rob Fore. 

Maybe being homeless is like the ultimate experience
of being totally down in the dumps
living away from your family
feeling totally useless
and helpless
Knowing you have to fight your way
out of these depths of despair
and make something of yourself
so you can rescue your family
and yourself.

Yes, he was a simple man
Another construction worker
That had no faith in mlm business
With their wussy $5 commissions
and also lost his job.
Became homeless.
Another no-hoper.
Living on $600/month benefits
Looking for a way out
or a hand up.
To make something of his life.

Then he attended an opportunity meeting.
Where suited speakers promoted their businesses
in their professional manner.
But the last speaker was David Wood
unshaven, shorts and tshirt, funny,
who rambled on for a long time
on this and that, and everything
making about $30,000 per month.

“If this hippie larrikin can make it
so can I” thought Kris Darty.
“I’m gonna be rich on the internet”.

So he jumped on board with the shorts and tshirt guy
rather than all the other well-groomed pin-striped gurus.

Kris had absolutely no list.
He had no mlm success to build on.
Knew nothing about internet marketing.
But he had that gleam in his eyes
and saw a possible way out
of his homeless despair.

He was willing to learn
and start from page 1
and simply follow the instructions
on blogging and advertising
exactly as laid out by David Wood

He paid the $500 cost from his
$600 monthly unemployment benefit.
In month 1 he made almost $4000
In 4 months his list grew to 200
With EN his list is now 17,000

What did he do?
Used strategies in the 15K Formula
to drive traffic to capture pages
And?

It took about 6 months
for Kris and Jessica Darty
to escape the doldrums
and emerge from penniless
homeless no-hopers
into successful Empower Networkers
