If you have a business online or are a marketer than most likely you have hearing about WordPress blogs, but were never told how to make money with wordpress.

It sounds hard but it is actually fairly easy once you get the science behind blogging down. In my opinion, it is one of internet marketing’s well kept secrets.

I want to share with you how I completely changed my strategy of make money online, and became a full blown WordPress blogger.

Will I Show You How To Make Money With WordPress?

To answer that question, I would say no and yes. The reason I say no is because I will show you how “I” make money with WordPress but it is ultimately on you to take what I teach and apply it in your own ways. The worst thing a person could do is to do a lot listening but take no actions whatsoever. Remember to fail fast. The faster you fail, the quicker you will succeed. Don’t be afraid to dive into anything.

Step # 1 - Find A Niche

First of all you want to have your WordPress blog based around a certain niche. It could be absolutely anything. People get caught up in trying to think of what will bring in the most traffic. You must remember that the internet is World-Wide, and that whatever you choose there will always be someone looking for it.

Niche Example- How To Make Money With WordPress. That can be a great niche, because their are a lot of people like yourself who are interested in finding that information. So the more good content you give out on that topic, the more benefits you will receive in return.

Step # 2 – Do Keyword Research

This the most important part that I tell you as your learning how to make money with wordpress. Keyword research can be a beautiful thing when done right. But it can also kick you in the butt when it is done wrong.

You want to remember to look for keywords that have low competition but that have a decent amount of traffic coming in each month (I look for 5,000 and up). What I do personally is look for long tailed keywords (3 or more keywords or phrase) that have 100,000 or less competing pages. A trick you can use is to put your keyword phrase into quotes and do a search. This will show you exactly how many websites have these keyword phrases in their sites title.

Example – “how to make money with wordpress” you will often times get back a much smaller amount of results on the competition because this filters out the sites that might have just mentioned that keyword instead of actually being mainly about it.

Step #3 – Research Your Competition

People often skip over this step and just do keyword research and publish a post. I am telling you that if that is what you are doing then you are completely wasting your time and are leaving a lot of money on the table. There are essential things that you want to find out about your competition.

- How much authority do they have (If their domain is older)

- How Many backlinks do they have to the specific page and keyword that you want to out rank ( if they have 1,000 backlinks and you get 1,500 then most likely you will easily out rank them).

- How relevant to their niche are the backlinks pointing to their page.

- What words are they using in the anchor texts of their backlinks

Absolutely, if you follow these steps faithfully and make sure that your on page SEO is squared away as well, then you can expect to be rolling in dough in no time. Here’s some proof below. I ranked  a blog post on the first page of yahoo and bing in the 6th position, within a hour of posting it (with no real backlinks).
