Still can’t find a job? Start a Business Instead

It can be tough when putting in all this time and effort into your job hunt, and you still can’t find a job.
I remember when I went out looking for a job once and if you’re still looking for a job, you could try this as well.
I printed out about 40 or 50 copies of my resume and went out dropping them off everywhere. This was in Seattle and if you live in a small town, this probably won’t work. I went into all the stores with ‘now hiring’ signs on their windows. There weren’t as much as I thought there were going to be.
I tried a lot of odd places that I hadn’t even noticed before even after walking through their every day when I would go to school. I went all around downtown Seattle and then I wondered around West Seattle afterwards, that’s where I lived at the time.
I found a few places that after asking the right questions and talking to the managers, it seemed very possible to get a job.
I went home and at the end of the day I was exhausted. I didn’t realize how much time and effort you need to put into hunting for a job. I had heard before job hunting is like having a full time job but I didn’t realize it until I actually tried getting hired.
It’s difficult when you can’t find a job after a while.
This is why I started an online business.
It’s not as difficult as I thought it would be. I don’t know if you’ve tried doing a puzzle before where you try and try, and still can’t find the solution. It seems almost impossible to figure out. Then someone that knows the answer comes and shows you exactly what you need to do.
All of a sudden your mind shifts just a little bit and you almost wanna slap yourself because it was so easy. That’s how this business is.
I struggled at first, simply because I didn’t have the right answers. I wondered around the internet for a while before coming up with not only the right answers, but the right questions as well.
This is when I realized that I was asking the wrong questions. Sometimes we don’t ask the right questions and yet, we expect the right answers for some reason. This is where confusion and frustration start to creep up.
When people are confused and frustrated, what do they usually do? They give up and don’t even bother anymore.
When you have the right training, the right steps, and the right system in place, there is no room for confusion and frustration.
It’s an amazing feeling not having to worry about how the economy’s doing or whether or not you might get laid off when the company starts firing people.
When you start a new business, all the stress your job brings is gone –it just disappears.
