In the field of Archaeology it is important to find and examine artifacts which may come from all over the world. You will need to learn various types of computer software and will probably travel to sites to excavate. You will have to put what you have learned into action to be able to determine what and where your discoveries have come from.
When working in a archaeology career you will need to be able to acquire and preserve your finds.
There are a number of different agencies you can start working for once you have completed the necessary training. Some of the possibilities include museums, government agencies, and possibly freelance your work out (Indiana Jones style).
