Gaining profits from a Web Lead Generation Process
Most folks find the entire lead generation process to be intensive and time-intensive and full of issues but the lead generation process can be easy.
First, not all leads are made equal.
What you want in order to effectively close your leads is a highly qualified lead – meaning the contact information of somebody who has somehow expressed an active interest in your product, service or opportunity.
The challenge is some corporations keep their lead generation and sales departments separate. So somebody else might have the job of creating leads, and receive payment for volume. (and this sucks for you) So they produce any kind of lead, and pass them on to you. Some might be qualified, some might not be qualified. (sound familiar, been there done that)
Any person trying to scratch out a living from earning on commissioned sales knows precisely what it means to work unqualified leads. (all too well) They are both a waste of your time and money. (and very depressing) Not to mention the strain incurred from non-production. But relax. The safest defense is often to take an offensive position. Meaning consider setting up your own lead generation process so you remain in control of both the quality, and quantity of leads. (great idea!) Lead prosperity leads to prosperity but only if you are making presentations to folk who’ve got a sincere interest in what you have got to offer, and who are in a position to buy today. (the ultimate perfect prospect)
By making your own lead generation process you will be much more trusting of those leads. Naturally you will get some low-quality leads but you will find you’ll be far more successful creating your own. When you have your own MLM or internet marketing business, the perfect situation is generally to generate much more highly qualified leads you can basically handle. More prospects than you can deal with. (whooohooo!)
With experience you will be able to say which are the most qualified leads and spend your time on them. That is the idea anyhow. (and it will happen, if you stick with it)
Lead Generation Process Explained
Folk like to conduct business with those they know, so self-branding, and brand name recognition are absolutely vital, folk are far more likely to buy from someone they know and trust, like Eric Goldman Online, right!
So be certain to include 1 or 2 “trust” elements into the system you use, feature your company name if it’s well known and your brand. If you are with a company that’s not very well known or promoting a fresh product or opportunity, even if it implies adding a Better Business Bureau logo, or other trusted and recognized brand names, then do it. You have to add trust elements to gain trust.
Always have a particular target market under consideration before planning any prospecting, advertising or educational reports.
Who, especially, is the person you wish to attract. How old are they? How much money do they make? What is their average level of education? Write or design your selling pieces to match these demographics and you can increase your results. (basically get to know your prospects, so they become friends)
For example, if you offer mens work boots – writing to all guys generally, including those who work in an office, doesn’t make any sense. Write specifically for your market.
Consider sharing free, value-based information to attract your best prospects (authorization promoting ) versus using old school interruption advertising techniques. (which you and your prospect is uncomfortable with) You may find you will significantly reduce expenses, but you will get a way higher conversion rate because you have established a trust relationship first. Find out precisely what your target prospect is attempting to find, and make it easy for them to find it.
