Global Domains International can best be reviewed from the inside.

Back in late 2004,  Global Domains International ( GDI for short ) was hot. It was just $10.00 a month to be involved so the price was right….

After seeing the Global Domains International – GDI ads flying around for about a month on the internet, I decided to join in February of 2005. As it turns out, I was unemployed at the time so a ten dollar program was highly attractive. Once I signed up, I immediately went to work. I had been in a few other network marketing programs in the past, so I started off approaching the people that I had met while working those programs.

Global Domains International ( GDI ) : So what’s the Product ?

For your $10.00 per month you received a few things:

1. The registration of a .WS domain. You could put a website there or forward it to another website. According to them : ” .WS is a globally accessible top level domain that works just like .COM and .NET. Anyone, anywhere, can register a .WS domain and establish a personal internet address for life. ”

2. You got to participate in an income producing opportunity. For every person that joined you or your group within a depth of 5 levels you would receive $1.00 . Yeah I know..Not too sexy or exciting but over time it could add up.

3. You got 100 MB of storage space for your website, hosting, and any related files. I didn’t know this until some people began to complain about it, but 100 MB was pretty freakin small. One area where Global Domains International – GDI really could have cleaned up and provided better service would have been to have an upsell where a person could get more space on their servers.

How Did I Get the Word Out about Global Domains International aka GDI ?

That is a funny story…

I probably signed up my first 3 people into Global Domains International ( GDI ) from a pool of people that I had been in other deals with but then ….. I was on my own almost…

I had previously been in another opportunity where my sponsor was a lady from the Phillipines and she was good at many things. But, what she was best at was the art of spamming people. So ..that’s what I did. Global Domains International ( GDI ) had this tool called the Invitation System.

You could put a person’s name and email in there ( up to 50 at a time ), hit a button, and send them an email with a little marketing cartoon that would put their name into it.

Now the catch was that you were supposed to either know these people or have received their permission to Invite them. Ha Ok…Sure…

It was slick… and we were too. My sponsor and I were both computer programmers so we wrote this program that would take a list of leads, pop them into that invitation form, and hit the send button. With that approach, the leads and sign ups started to roll in.

Later, a guy named Randy Thomas created the Bulk Mailer. We could buy leads with ip addresses, load those up, and the system would email them on a regular basis. At the peak of my involvement with Global Domains International ( GDI ), I had a group of 798 people.

That was a far as it went because I wasn’t an internet marketer with any skills at that point and the big clamp down on spamming was occurring. Global Domains International ( GDI ) actually began to terminate people who were actively spamming to promote.

What’s the Final Word on Global Domains International ( GDI ) ?

I think that Global Domains International ( GDI ) is still great opportunity with a good product that is in demand. I am very much in favor of opportunities with different price points so that everyone has a chance to earn on the internet.

There are people who are earning marvelous incomes in Global Domains International today and I still receive a $125.00 residual from it every month even though I have not actively worked it in 6 years.
