If you’ve been searching around the internet lately then you’ve probably come across Project Payday Scam articles. So, can you actually make serious money with Project Payday?

Project Payday Scam? – Well, here’s the lowdown on Project Payday:

So here is how it goes. You go online and sign up to get a free bottle of the most recent snake oil. This snake oil normally costs $100 a bottle, but all you have got to pay is a delivery and handling charge of 5 dollars. All you have to do is send me your invoice and I’ll send you a check for perhaps $25, which covers your time and effort, which should also include the time it may take you to cancel the automatic monthly shipment of your snake oil. If you do not cancel then you will be billed for it.

Sounds cool doesn’t it? You only need to pay 5 dollars and receive a check for $25, which is a $20 profit for five minutes work. The associate that referred you will most likely receive a bigger check than you do. Whatever the case, everyone is content and nobody loses right?

Wrong, somebody does lose and that is the company.

Project Payday Scam – Is Project Payday Ethical?

Project Payday is a system that is intended to teach folks the easiest way to earn rewards promoting “cost per action” offers, but sadly these methods are highly controversial, just like the example above.

Not familiar with CPA offers?

These are usually free or very cheap trial offers built to get a company’s product, service or business opportunities into the hands of a new customer in the hopes of gaining further  sales later .

You have probably seen those flashing banners all over the Web that say get an iPod for free, just pay shipping and handling, or get a free portable computer by completing our survey. These are known in the business as incentivized freebie websites, and they are modeled on the same idea as Project Payday is.

So does that mean Project Payday Scam?

These companies really will give you the freebie after completing a survey or a particular number of affiliate offers, there is however a catch.

Before you qualify to get the item in question you must either give up your personal info, finish a minimum number of trial offers, agree to a monthly auto shipment, or get 6 of your family and friends to complete the same offer.

Of course there may be people that are really enthusiastic about a certain product and of course that is a different situation. Perhaps they really do need an once a month supply of acne cream!

But this is an internet marketing scheme which fundamentally bribes you into completing an offer and then tells you that you can cancel it right afterwards. The company whose product it is, is getting cheated. This may be why you’ve been hearing Project Payday Scam.

The referring affiliate and you both make money and you are both happy, so what’s bad with that? What is wrong is that the company is losing money because they are paying commissions to what amounts to fake customers who never had a genuine interest in their product.

So is Project Payday moral or a Project Payday Scam? I’ll leave you to decide that for yourself. I guess it depends totally on your personal morals and ethics and fundamentally boils down to what you think is right and what’s wrong.

That having been said, there a large amount of folks making six-figure and even seven-figure incomes working part-time from home promoting CPA offers.

The difference is they push the offers in such a manner as to attract people who are sincerely interested in at least trying the product or service.

It is a proven model and it works very well once you master the art and science of marketing. So regardless or whether you think Project Payday Scam, there is money to be made with this kind of marketing.
