Empower Network

You are right,  ”what a long strange trip it’s been.”  After a very short stint in mortgage banking, in 1980 I entered the family business.  The family business of manufacturing lace tablecloths and curtains.  Yes, family business is everything they say it is.  It can be very lucrative but it also has its dark sides as well.  Many of them.

Twenty-seven  years later I found myself out of business.  How would you like to be told by a banker that he sees joy watching someone file for bankruptcy.  Well, he got his jollies and he also took my business leaving me at the crossroads of my career.  What pulled me through this most emotional time of my life (other than the birth of my kids) was my family.  To hear my kids tell me “dad it’s only stuff, we’ll get it back” was the inspiration I needed.

I re-started another company and went right back into business from scratch.  These were some interesting times as I ran a one man show from my home outsourcing everything. But I still longed for another opportunity and direction in my life.  Lace didn’t cut it for me.  And there were some bad memories attached to it that needed to be shed.

In 2010, I was approached by someone to join Lyoness.  Lyoness is a global shopping community all about getting cash back, founded by Hubert Freidl in Graz, Austria back in 2003.  What did I know about network marketing?  Not much.  I dabbled with a few companies, never hitting a home run.  I started to run with Lyoness in August of that year and became the first American to get paid commission.  Lyoness has the top cashback card in the world.

Now, I am seeking to sharpen my internet marketing skills and take things to the next level.  There are incredible opportunities to make a very nice living on the internet. Technology has always been a love of mine, and now to be able to use my passion to make money sitting right here looking outside from my kitchen window is a dream come true. In addition, to be able to learn from the best, David Wood and David Sharpe, is priceless.

The Empower Network products have taught me so much in just days about blogging and being found on Google. Once you are found, it is unlimited what you can do. The rest is up to me!  My education through Empower Network products  will only make me a better leader in this fantastic industry.
