Harbaugh Brothers To Face Off In The SuperBowl

WTVR.com shared this:
One Harbaugh will win Super Bowl XLVII. Another will lose it.
That much is guaranteed, after the San Francisco 49ers coached by Jim Harbaugh and — a few hours later — the Baltimore Ravens led by his brother John Harbaugh beat their respective foes in conference championship games Sunday. Those wins mean the Harbaughs will be the first siblings to face-off on the sidelines of the NFL’s title contest and, in fact, for any major U.S. professional sports championship.
The Seattle Times shared:
It’ll be Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh when Big Bro John’s Baltimore Ravens (13-6) play Little Bro Jim’s San Francisco 49ers (13-4-1) in the Super Bowl at New Orleans in two weeks.
As much chatter as there will be about the players involved – from Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and his impending retirement to 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick‘s sudden emergence – the sibling angle will make this coaching matchup the most scrutinized in the nearly half-century of Super Sundays.
KBTX.com has this:
On Thanksgiving Day, 2011, the Harbaughs became the first brothers to coach against each other in any NFL game. Now they’ll be squaring off in the biggest one of all.
This is gonna be a fun Superbowl to watch…
I think the next coolest thing would be to have coaches as brothers, and quarterbacks as brothers facing off on opposing teams.. I like the whole family affair thing!
What do you think? Will there be a fun family dinner when this is all over?
Keep marching forward,
