Buy A Timeshare – You are kidding, right?

Buy a timeshare -Consider The Risk. Consider The Alternatives
So you are thinking to buy a timeshare. And I am here to talk you out of it ![]()
This post has been written by a former timeshare-salespro. Rather than speaking
in terms of numbers (like customer satisfaction, average unit cost etc)…I would
like to speak from the heart. And from experience.
Don’t read on before clicking on this link, the real nitty-gritty of what this is even allabout is right here: BUY A TIMESHARE ?
So you want to buy a timeshare. And these are the obvious benefits: Gorgeous units, spacious units. And, if you believed your last timeshare salesperson, possibly you get to
“lock in inflation”. Buy a timeshare. Go right ahead. Or wait.
I am not here to bash timeshares. I have sold them in the past. I was one of the
salesreps who simply did not know whatelse do do with his life at that point in time.
Timeshare properties are some of the most amazing ones in the world. If there is one
thing that timeshares really have going for themselves: quality. Many resorts are downright stunning.
Unsurpassed quality. So you could buy a timeshare if you wanted. Sure.
As a matter of fact, I would go so far as saying that there is possibly only two things
that I do not like about timeshares.
And that is the fact that you do not have guaranteed availability.
I mean that’s ironic, right. You spend between 20 and 40K on a 2-Bedroom and the paperwork will still always, always always say: “based on space availability”.
Unless of course you buy the old “fix week”. But fix weeks are hardly being sold anymore.
That’s a real caveat.
The second part I do not like about timeshares is the exchange. The exchange – excuse my french -really sucks a little. It’s complex. It makes everybody cry. And the fact of the matter is that timeshare resorts typically have a tendency to rent their units to people who have not purchased yet.Whatever your rep told you about how “exchange” really works is probably correct overall. But what does it help if things start playing out differently?
So my question to you is: If you could have all the benefits of a timeshare. Without having to buy a timeshare. Would you be interested? There is an alternative out there and it’s called a “destination club”. You still get to go to all the nice places. But you never pay maintenance-fees. You don’t have the crappy quality of low end travel-discounters, either. You are not tied down to using a certain amount of weeks per year. You can not go at all (and pay nothing). Or you can go 10 times a year and pay a fee.
But it’s “as you go”.
Buy a timeshare ? to learn what Wikipedia has to say about how to buy a timeshare.
It makes more sense, doesn’t it? Well, mabye. You be the judge. Watch one of the most raved about presnetations ever created. Watch it here:
And you don’t have to buy a timeshare.
I own the membership myself. I know dozens and dozens of people who own it. This membership used to be sold as an exit-program in timeshare-resorts. The only objection that I have ever heard towards my program is that it’s too good to be true. I want to prove to you that it is not, before you buy a timeshare. Watch this video right here and you will see what I mean. Don’t buy a timeshare before you’ve seen this shocking video-report.
