Pundit says Ann Romney ‘never worked a day in her life.’ Agree?
Democratic pundit Hilary Rosen, a political consultant who advises the Democratic National Committee, said on CNN Wednesday night that Ann Romney “never worked a day in her life.”
Almost immediately, Romney defended her understanding of the economic issues facing women on a new Twitter account. She wrote: “I made a choice to stay home and raise five boys. Believe me, it was hard work.”

Rosen’s comments drew a predictably quick, strong response. The Obama campaign distanced itself, suggesting Rosen apologize, while Republicans jumped on Rosen for her right to critique a stay-at-home mother. You can get a sense of the split reaction on Twitter.
So, what do you think? Was Hilary Rosen right to question Romney’s ability to understand the economic problems facing women or is raising a family a full-time job on its own? Vote in our poll below.
