So now you’re ready to get started with Lightyear Wireless and make yourself some real money. But you’re probably asking yourself how do you go about building a business, and wondering what you should be doing first!

This is normal for most MLM newbie’s, and today I’m going to show you exactly how to get your business started successfully with Lightyear Wireless!

The first thing you need to do is understand the power of building your business. While you can sell all the phones and plans you want from Lightyear, doing it on your own is not going to bring in the big bucks because it’s just you doing all the work.

Like it or not, big success in network marketing requires a team effort. You must duplicate what you’re doing so that other people are working with you and multiplying your results.

So, where do you start?

Set your goals. This is the first step and often the neglected one. You msut take into consideration, the following questions:

  • Where do you want to take your business? 
  • How large do you envision it to be? 
  • How much money do you want to earn in a couple months’ time? 

Write it down, put it someplace where you can see it often, and keep it in mind everyday that you get to work. By setting a definite, time-bound goal, you are creating the level of success you want. Don’t cheat yourself and aim low. If you want to be successful, might as well make it a huge success. Why settle for mediocre results?

Plan your daily schedule. Success is a habit; it’s the sum of the things that you do everyday. So take the time to make a good, simple action plan you can do for 20 minutes or so. Take the web, for instance. Joining Lightyear means you have access to a recruitment site and online store.

  • What will you put up in Facebook or Twitter to drive people to these sites? 
  • Who will you try to personally contact? 
  • How many people will you present to? 
  • What motivating piece will you write about in your blog to generate interest in your business? 

There are so many things you can try apart from picking up the phone. Come up with a daily schedule and stick to it! You’ll see your team grow in no time at all.

Find a mentor and get trained. The great thing about this business is you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. People have been successful and you have absolutely no reason not to duplicate their actions. For one thing, it’s the sincerest form of flattery. For another, you’re following a path they trail-blazed and is a great blueprint for success. So find a mentor who’s actively building their business and learn from them—what they write about, how they present, and so on. If you have to, sit with them over coffee and talk about how to make your organization boom. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.
