Being an internet marketing coach, I have run across many Stream Energy reps that have run out of their warm market regarding their business. Here is the most common complaint which I have heard up to now from people who are in the company. Just so you know, I used to be a customer of Stream Energy“, but decided to go in a different direction.

The reps that I speak with simply love Stream Energy. The concept is smart. Everyone pays an electric bill, so why wouldn’t you help a friend or member of the family by sharing the savings with them. Some things that I have also heard is that the company doesn’t promote hard selling. There’s nothing worse than somebody trying to hard sell you into doing something. The company doesn’t want you to hammer your warm market about switching energy supplier. They all are about sharing information and if a person wants to become a customer great, otherwise, no big deal.

The biggest issue that I am hearing is when a rep no longer has people to share the savings/business opportunity with. Reps are lost in what to do to help develop their business and customer base? From a few things I have seen first hand (since I live in Pennsylvania) quite a ton of spam. I’ve received so much spam by email and on Facebook of Reps trying to sell me on being a customer. They’re from folks I have no idea who the heck they are. Little do they realize is these methods could really get them in real trouble. Should you this a lot on Facebook, Facebook could shut your account down!

What things can you do to expanded your business if you have run out of people to talk to? Learn internet marketing. Now, I’m not talking about posting advertisements on Craigslist that look just like everyone else’s in the company, because that doesn’t work either. If you are marketing like all others what makes you stick out and what separates you from all of the other distributers doing exactly the same thing?
Plus, posting advertisements just isn’t fun! It takes a lot of time and most often it doesn’t produce any results. Furthermore, once you stop putting ads, your traffic will stop also.
