Because I live in Pennsylvania and am on Facebook and in network marketing, I am sure you can only imagine the emails, calls, and Facebook messages I had received when Ignite Stream was launched in my state. To get quite honest, I must say I started to get irritated, since these messages were 100% spam plus they all had a similar message.”join my new company, just opened in Pa, since you are in Pa, you can save money on your electric bill!” For me personally, it was just like having a telemarketer call my house!

Clearly, these were all people being salesmen who obviously ran out of their warm market and needed people to introduce the business to, so they were searching for any living body in PA, to send a cold email to them. This method of marketing (if you can even refer to it marketing) does not work properly, so you are simply wasting your time and effort. I could have reported many people for spam and gotten a lot more Knocked off of Facebook, I didn’t, but there are many other people that will.

YES! I did enroll as a client of Ignite. (But, I am not apart of the business opportunity. I became a client of someone I had met on the net months ago. He informed me he had joined the organization, explained how it would benefit me, and it only made sense to participate. Because he used his time to educate me on exactly what energy deregulation was, I became a customer of his.

So, why didn’t I become a customer of those people that I didn’t know who just sent me a message? Well, because they clearly did not care about me spending less! Just from their messages it absolutely was clear that they just wanted my business to generate a commission that is all. I had been just a number for them and a commission check.

My point here is that people only do business with folks they know, like, and trust. Point is, I did not know these people that were spamming me and I also sure as heck didn’t like them due to their approach. Now, if their approach was more into showing me what I would gain out of joining, then I at least would have listened to what they had to say, but their motive was all only to make money off of me, not educating me.

Things I described above isn’t a technique which I recommend. I am telling you consequently it doesn’t work. In fact, I’ve removed friends from Facebook due to this. If you’re looking to build your business online, you’ll want to learn how to market online without having to be a sales representative and to have folks like and trust you so that they will join you as a customer or perhaps join your Ignite Stream business.

As I mentioned, many Ignite energy reps are marketing exactly the same. If you are marketing like all others, why should people join you over other all of the other reps in the company? Your job is always to stand out from the crowd. Be different, be unique online. Give reasons for people to join you over everyone else out there. Be the leader you will want to be so individuals will beg to do business with you and only you.

People need to get properly educated online marketing and learn to have in demand prospects calling you instead of you chasing them. There are numerous ways that you can generate leads on your own.
