Unfortunately, I know of Ignite Energy representatives that spam the heck out of their friends on Facebook. They post their business opportunity website on their friends’ wall and send messages to people they don’t know asking them to become a customer. This isn’t effective marketing and it will only irritate people. If it is done excessivly, Facebook will shut down your account.

I would say that I have received about fifty emails all from people trying to get me to switch energy providers without educated me on anything as far as the service, what to expect, etc…All they did was give me their website and asked if I would sign up. I didn’t know who these people were, so of course I didn’t sign up with any of them!

I did finally give in and did become a customer of Ignite. I signed up with a friend of mine that asked to sign up and do him a favor. And better yet, he took the time to answer my questions!
