The Prosperity Game

The prosperity game is a process I learned from an amazing book, “Ask And It Is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

The game will be of most use to you when you want to improve the flow of money into your life. Imagination is very important in creating what you want in your life. Think about it, how often do you imagine spending a large amount of money each day and not feeling the least bit of resistance toward doing so? When you stretch your mind to think of what you would spend a lot of money on daily, it’s amazing what results you will see.

So what is the prosperity game?

You are going to keep an imaginary checking account. Go ahead and order yourself some checks for this purpose, use an old checking account you no longer use, or an accounting program in your computer. I prefer writing out checks.

On the first day, deposit $1,000 and write this deposit in your check register. Then write a check and spend it. You can write it all for one thing, or write several checks for different things. You can spend it all in one day or same some for the next day. The important point is to have fun with it and enjoy writing out the checks. Make sure you write a description in the memo of what you are buying.

To continue with the prosperity game, the next day, you deposit $2,ooo and spend it.

The third day, you deposit $3,000 and spend it. You will continue to add $1,000 each day so that on day 50, you will deposit $50,000 and on the last day of the year, you will deposit $365,000. In total, if you make it a habit to play the prosperity game every day, you will have spent $66 million in a year. You can start and stop the prosperity game any time you want, but wouldn’t it be fun to do it every day for an entire year?

So what does a process like the prosperity game do for you? Well, since your subconscious mind does not know the difference between something real and something imagined, you will shift your point of attraction from that of what you currently have to one of an improved financial situation. By feeling no resistance when you are writing the checks because you don’t fear overspending, you will allow more money into your experience. You will shift from focusing on “what is” to what you are wanting and what you will spend your money on when the money manifests in physical form.

The prosperity game is a very fun game, but an extremely powerful process to improve the amount of money flowing into your life.
