Empower Network

Over the past 30 years, I have founded and built many companies. The one thing all these companies had in common was lots of employees and substantial amounts in money needed.

One business I had manufactured and sold products I invented to Walmart andTarget. To be competitive in that space requires frequent innovation, low cost manufacturing and a lot of money to finance manufacturing in advance of orders.

Another was a direct mail catalog company where the printing and postage costs were huge.

These days, almost everyone needs some extra money, but most people have had jobs their entire lives so they do not have the skills or finances to start a traditional business.

Network marketing is the only low cost way for an inexperienced person to create a side income. They can do it for very little investment, they can operate from home and do it part time until it’s working well enough to quit their job.

Because I have decades of experience as an entrepreneur, I could easily start another traditional company and get financing from investors. So why don’t I do that?

Here’s why.

I don’t want to work 80 hours per week building another business – I prefer opportunities that do not involve employees and that create passive income so I can work when I want and where I want.

So what’s passive income?

That’s income that comes in without doing anything. Like the royalties on a song, or royalties on a movie or an invention. Or for celebrities, payments to use their name or image in advertising.

Real estate can do this too, but to be passive, you need enough funds to own many properties and the cash flow to hire a manager to run them.

So if you are not a successful recording artist, a celebrity, an inventor or someone with millions of dollars available for investment, none of these will work for you.

Network marketing opportunities are the only realistic path for the average person.

A network marketing opportunity has a lot to offer someone who has been working a job all their life.

You can choose a network marketing opportunity from hundreds of available companies. They are cheap to start – usually less than $500, you can run it form home, you can do it part time while you keep your job and the company provides you with the products, the marketing tools, the web sites and the one-on-one support and training to help you.

My wife and I are only in two – Empower (which is not really MLM) and Send Out Cards – which is. For me, the two go together because I can create leads for SOC using Empower.

I also like that SOC has a business to business aspect to it that I really like because I have been a marketing consultant for years now and can show businesses how to use SOC to get 4 times more referrals.

I’m new in Empower so am not on the leaderboard yet, but in Send Out Cards, my wife and I are # 25 out of 140,000 distributors. We are friends with all those who are above us, go on the cruises every year and have made many good friends as a result.
