Taking a Screenshot (images/video)

Taking a Screenshot for your Blog
Taking a screenshot helps people take an image of the entire screen, which will enable them to crop and edit the image to their liking. The first thing you want to do is look for the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard. Each computer will have a different location for this key, but generally the key is located in the upper right area of your keyboard.
Below are a few images that give an idea of where the key is located for different keyboards, including laptops:
Next thing you want to do, is pick whatever webpage or screen that you want to take a snapshot of. Then press the “Print Screen” key. What this will do is copy the screen in the same way you’d copy any words from an article.
*You’ll now want to PASTE the image onto an image/art application such as Paint or something similar to it.

An Extra Tip When Taking a Screenshot
Finding the Paint application:
Pretty much every Windows computer already has the Paint program in it. If you’re not sure where to find it, then:
1)Click onto the Windows/Start button in the lower left.
2)Click “All programs”, and then click “Accessories” (it should be listed there by default)
3)Then click “Paint”
Note: You can also pin the Paint application to the Start Menu for quicker access by right clicking onto the Paint icon.

Taking a screenshot is simple once you’ve tried it a few times.
Once the Paint program opens, then click onto the “Paste” icon, and the screen that you copied will be pasted and ready to be edited. Hopefully taking a screenshot will be a breeze for you now.
