Chevy’s Year End Event Has Nick Thinking He Needs to Shave His Beard

by | on December 17, 2012

Chevy has gone over the deep end for this year’s Chevy’s Year End Event!

I mean that in a good way. I honestly don’t think I’ve seen funnier auto company ads this time of year than the ones Chevy is putting out for the Chevy’s Year End Event with Salesman Nick.   The one I posted above was one I stumbled upon on You Tube. I haven’t seen it on TV yet. At the time of this writing, it’s gotten over 352,000 views on You Tube.

The Question I Have For You: Does This Ad Make You Want To Buy A Chevy?

Maybe Chevy’s intention with this years’ Chevy’s Year End Event campaign is to cause people to think that if they rush into their Chevy dealership, their salesman may look just like Santa…or St. Nick.

Or maybe it’s a branding thing…we’re to associate shopping for a Chevy with making dreams become a reality.

What do you think Chevy had in mind with their Chevy’s Year End Event when they decided to portray Santa a.k.a. St. Nick as a car salesman?  There’s a part of me that laughs every time is see this one…

Nick a.k.a. Santa is finding alot of customers asking about his attire at Chevy’s Year End Event

According to Wikipedia:

The Chevrolet division is currently recovering from the economic downturn of 2007–2010. After sales of General Motors vehicles plummeted and when the U.S Government bailed out the company, GM began developing more fuel efficient cars and trucks in order to compete with foreign automakers. In late 2010 General Motors began production of the plug-in electric Chevrolet Volt (and related Opel/Vauxhall Ampera), which later was announced as the 2012 North American Car of the Year, European Car of the Year and World Green Car of the Year.

I guess I don’t blame Chevy for pushing so hard right now. They have alot of catching up to do in terms of regaining their reputation. The Volt has surely gotten them a long way. I only wish they offered an affiliate program…LOL!

There’s one more Chevy’s Year End Event video that I think is funny…

Now, that had to make you giggle at least…right?

I don’t need a new car right now. And even if I did, I’m not convinced that these ads would inspire me to buy a Chevy. But I have to give them alot of credit for brightening up my holidays this year with such fun ads.

There’s something else that’s brightened up my holidays, though. Something I’m really excited about…

Are You Like Me And Enjoy Sharing Viral Videos?

So if you’ve heard enough about Chevy’s Year End Event and want to know how I’m monetizing their videos, then listen up. I’m actually getting paid to promote these viral videos. But not by Chevy.

And the best part? I love promoting popular information, especially about things happening in the automotive industry. You see, my father was in the car business. I grew up knowing way more than a little girl should know about cars.

So I get to pick and choose the information and videos that I want to blog about. And I’m compensated by visitors that traffic to my promotions on the right column.

All I do is blog about topics I have a passion for and I get paid to do it!

In fact, the entire blog that you see here was created for me! All I need to do is post my articles and share them.

I can provide you with a step-by-step blogging guide that will show you exactly how to get started. So if you are interested in earning some extra money, you want to figure out how to make money from blogging, and the idea of working from home (maybe even in your pajamas), then you’ll want to click the banner below to learn more.
