Using Motivation to Align Expectations and Goals – (Success Mindset tips)

Your Success Mindset is key to winning!

I feel that business builders are the kind of people who chose to defy “normal” and forge their own way. They’re people who’ve decided to chase a dream in life.

Business builders aren’t happy with the status quo, so they made the personal decision to elicit a change in their lives. The most successful folks learned to tap into success mindset to help them achieve their goals.

We all have reasons why we decided to go into business. Not everyone is in touch with their reasons.

How ”in touch” we are with our “why” is more clear sometimes than others. I feel there’s direct correlation between a person’s comment to their why and their success level. This is why I advocate staying connected to that reason because it’ll drive us to our goals.

Your Success Mindset is what drives your why!

To get into positive changes and get out of 1st gear, you must be motivated. You can be unstoppable if you have captured a success mindset that DRIVES you!

Mindset and corresponding actions must be congruent with our goals.

We must tap into our success mindset if we expect to be successful. It sounds simple, but many people do trip on this part. There’s nothing mystical at all about setting achievable goals for yourself and tapping into success mindset. It’s all a matter of focus, clarity, and making the decision to hold yourself accountable to your goals.

Your mind is like a magnet – Anything you want, you can attract if you work at it, success included!

If you don’t like what you see in life, it’s most likely that you’re focused on the wrong things that are in discord with your goals.

To run on all cylinders, you need to apply your success mindset and be willing to self-direct in ways that correspond with your goals.

I recommend keeping yourself accountable to tasks by documenting things in a calendar and/or journal. This kind of documenting helped me reach a point of clarity as I would reflect on the things that were important for me to achieve. I found that brainstorming was one way to connect more deeply to my why and to help me focus on my success mindset.

Try writing big life goals down and then work to widdle them down to smaller daily goals that can be achieved in “bite sizes.” This is helpful because little goals are ones you can get your arms around and then you can cross off the little achievements along the way to the bigger ones that lay ahead.

Staying organized and focused will help you “feel” successful as you’re working your way into the future.

Sit down and draft up some large goals in the 5 and 1 year trajectory, as well as smaller ones like monthly goals, and day to day ones.

Create SUCCESS MINDSET CONTINUITY by creating daily successes that are aligned with your daily goals!

It’s not what you do once in awhile, it’s what you do day in and day out that makes the difference. - Jenny Craig (Founder of Jenny Craig, Inc.)

As you make daily achievements, you will enhance the strength of your success mindset!

It’s just too difficult to be successful if you’re taking shots in the dark, unclear on your goals, and unclear on what you need to be doing daily. This is kind of like trying to fill a bucket of holes.

Leaving it all to chance is not a good idea if you want to be successful. If you want to win at the game of chance, my recommendation is going to 7-11 to buy a bunch of “quick picks.”

People who think it’s effective to leave it all to chance are in for a rude awakening. If you are looking for chance, I recommend going to your nearest 7-11 and “investing” in quick-picks. Your chances of a “big win” are probably more likely than the amount of success your home business stands with no plan.

I think that this lack of planning is kind of like wandering around, lost in the middle of a dessert without a map, a plan, water, or much of a snowball’s chance in hell of making it home.

Change is never a matter of ability but MOTIVATION. – Tony Robbins (Globally acclaimed Self-help Author on Success Mindset)

Stop all procrastination on this now and save yourself much agony and time!!

  1. Scribble down the most important things in your life.
  2. Focus on those things.
  3. Reduce it down to the most VITAL 2 or 3

If you have goosebumps, you’re doing this right…You have found your WHY inside of the reason this list made the cut.

  • Connect to it.
  • Write it in BIG LETTERS.
  • Carry it on your person and put it all over places you can not avoid looking.

Allow yourself to connect this why to your reality. Let it hurt you enough to make you sick of not being “there” yet.

Now connect this desire to ACTS on your daily list of things to do.

Prioritize the tasks that will allow you to achieve goals that will solve the riddle of how to satisfy your whys and feed into that success mindset daily!
