Affordable RV Living…

Ask anyone what comes to mind when they picture RV Living…
…and most will say sitting behind the wheel of one of those big beautiful RVs – the kind with interiors that look like you’re in a fancy house . . . couches, recliners, flat screen TVs,king sized bed, a kitchen with an island and every kitchen appliance installed, washer, dryer . . . pulling a trailer with a four-wheeler or motorcycle . . . and on and on. Yes, those are beautiful rigs and for some, it’s the only way they can live comfortably.
But, a lot of people mistakenly think that RV Living is synonymous with one of those huge luxury RVs.
Here’s a little secret . . . RV living isn’t about the RV, it’s about the living.
Kind of like the saying, “A house doesn’t make a home.”
RV Living is about the living.
Living without the burden of all that stuff accumulated in your house, garage and storage units;
Living and working and traveling wherever you desire;
Living far away from cold, harsh winters . . . if you choose;
Living with the time to spend few more days in an area that is so beautiful your eyes fill with tears;
Living with the choice to go or stay . . . always on your own terms.
Living simply in order to enjoy life fully.
Our unofficial unscientific survey reveals that 90% of all the people who hear our story about full time RV living say, “I wish I could do what you are doing.”
There is a delightful wanderlust spirit in all of us. A yearning to go and see and experience more of the world . . . to travel everywhere and see everything.
Yet, most people have a mindset belief they have to WAIT for “someday” to do this.
Most think they have to wait until retirement – or until they have a huge savings built up – or until a wealthy relative dies and leaves them a grand inheritance! They believe it’s a dream that is out of reach for them.
Remember what I wrote earlier . . . RV living isn’t about the RV, it’s about the living? RV living can begin right now, from where you are, with what you have.
You just gotta change what you believe . . .
If you believe you have to wait until retirement to begin the life of RV living, you might never begin. Just ask my husband, Bruce, whose father died at the age of 50.
If you believe you need the biggest, best, most incredible RV to live this lifestyle, you might miss out on having the biggest, best, most incredible life experiences ever imagined.
Oh, we still dream of owning our dream RV – a RoadTrek. But, in the meantime, we’re crazy happy living and traveling in our Bigfoot Pickup Camper! Who knows how long we might have waited if we held on to the belief that we couldn’t do this until we got the RoadTrek . . . which has a pricetag of $100,000?
Instead, we focused on beginning to live the lifestyle NOW – and we opened ourselves to any and all possibilities. That’s when the magic began . . .
If we had waited for a RoadTrek before beginning a life of RV living, we would have missed out on a summer of camping in a tent along the Missouri River. We would have missed the experiences that healed and restored and rejuvanated us as we slept under the stars, listened to the coyotes and owls, cooked over the campfire.
If we had waited until we could afford a RoadTrek, we would have missed out on the BigFoot pickup camper and truck that literally fell into our laps. We no longer had to be concerned with the weather – Big Foot provided protection from the elements.
RV Living . . . it’s not about the RV, it’s all about the LIVING. What are you waiting for?
