What I Found On the First Page of Google About Zbiddy Surprised Me.

Zbiddy

Zbiddy does not offer free bids to new members.

While I was preparing to write an article about Zeekler penny auction site using the keyword penny auction sites, I came across the name Zbiddy.  It is a penny auction site with which I was unfamiliar.

So I did some searching in Google for Zbiddy.

The first page I reviewed was a splash page for Zbiddy.

On that page I found that Zbiddy worked the same as most penny auction sites in that it started the bidding at one penny and, therefore, offered the potential of substantial savings for the bidders.

The Zbiddy site is colorful and well laid out clearly demonstrating the reduced pricing for many name brand items.

The Zbiddy site considers itself the number one penny auction site based on the number of products available.  This may or may not be true, since I have not data to confirm or refute that statement.

However, there were a few disturbing differences between Zbiddy and Zeekler in my opinion.

First, I could not find any information about the ownership or history of Zbiddy on the splash page or backoffice.  I signed up for the site just to see if the backoffice would provide that information.

What I found was an About Us page that simply provided information describing a penny auction site, but no business address or history.  I did find a contact us phone number for customer service.  I could not find any business location or history in the FAQ either.

Secondly, on the first page of Google in addition to articles apparently written by affiliates of Zbiddy there are several listings with numerous Zbiddy complaints.  Apparently, many people completed the registration process and entered their credit card information and found themselves charged for the $99 bid package.  I did not take the time to read all of the complaints.  But the first few I read indicated that they were still trying to get a refund for the bid packages charged by Zbiddy.  So if you decide to use Zbiddy, do not enter credit card information unless you want to be charged for a bid package.

Though I did not go through every complaint about Zbiddy, I did not see any complaints about the quality of the merchandise.

You can do your own search for Zbiddy complaints by means of a Google search.

Thirdly, I think it is difficult for a consumer to learn how a penny auction works if they must use their own money to do so.  In the case of Zbiddy, you must purchase a bid package, which only carries a guarantee for replacement if you purchase the $99 bid package.  Or at least that is how I read the splash page for Zbiddy.  The guarantee stipulates that you will be recycled bids until you win an auction.  You will not get a refund.  That is fair if you wish to continue to try bidding on products.

As a Zeekler independent affiliate and a Zeek Rewards affiliate, I wanted to see how  Zeekler, a product I am promoting, compared to Zbiddy.  This is what I found about Zeekler in comparison to the items mentioned above for Zbiddy.

The numerous complaints on the first page of Google is my primary concern with Zbiddy.

When I searched for Zeekler, I went through page six in the Google listings and found absolutely no sites stating complaints about Zeekler or Zeek Rewards.

With Zeekler, you join and are given many free bids that you can use to practice or play with bidding for items on the site.  Zbiddy requires an upfront purchase of a bid package.

Both Zbiddy and Zeekler offer substantially reduced pricing on name brand items and the bidding starts at one penny.

You can find out the details regarding ownership and the location of Zeekler penny auctions on the About Us page of Zeekler before having to join Zeekler.  Zbiddy provides no such details.

When starting my keyword research,  I was hoping to find a site that would give me a run for my money in writing a blog promoting Zeekler.  I did not find that with Zbiddy.

I trust you find this review of Zbiddy helpful,  Before using any penny auction site, do your due diligence.

Wishing you successful bidding!
