Azden WMS Pro Wireless Microphone System Review

I am going to share with you how I came across the Azden WMS Pro Wireless Microphone System and what I think about it.
I was just starting out with video and I knew I needed 2 things. 1. a camera that had an external mic port and an affordable microphone. I wanted a wireless lapel, so that really narrowed down my choices.
I work with Sennheiser’s wireless products and they are excellent but were way out of my price range. So that wasn’t an option for me.
I knew Bill Myers was going to tell me something good. I looked him up and found this video.

So the microphone looked good to me. I went on Amazon, saw that it was very affordable ($145 or so). I bought it.
Since Bill already told me to go to Radio Shack and get an adapter, I did that. I stopped by the local computer store first to get the adapter, and thats not what I got.
You will see in this video what I got. This video is my Azden WMS Pro Wireless Microphone System review so you can get my take on the microphone and what adapter to get.

As you see in the video, the Microphone is a great product and at a good price. I use it all the time when recording. Only if I had 2 that I could hook up so when another person is talking, we both can use one.
Another cool feature is the handheld microphone. That plugs into the wireless transmitter. This way if you are doing interviews, you can pass it around without a long dangling wire attached to the camera. Its great.
For whatever reason if you need this, Bill said the audio still sounded great at 30-40 feet away. Nice deal.
Here are some links to amazon to the exact one I bought and the adapter that I got at Radio Shack.
