Be very careful when attracting customers to your business. You want to make sure you have the right ones. It’s great to have customers, but you don’t want to attract customers, that will cost you a lot of time.
Because, your time is precious.
Ninety-five percent of the people that read your emails, click on your ads or skim your blog posts, are not worth wasting your time with. They are looking for get rich quick schemes for easy ways to make money.
These people are desperate and poor-minded, people who will never do anything and will never be successful. Do you really want those people on your team?
Definitely not. They will suck your time. They’ll have endless questions because they are too lazy to go find the answers themselves. They will want you to hand hold them through every step along the way. They will make your life difficult and eventually they’ll leave.
All your precious time – wasted.
So, don’t just go after customers for the sake of having customers. There will be no return on investment for you if you are attracting the wrong customers to your business.

You should be hearing questions about training, and leadership, and community, business opportunities, and “how fast can I grow”.

Especially if you are selling a top tier product or system, you want to attract a certain type of person to your business. You need a customer who is going to easily understand the value of your offer, without resistance.
You should be looking for people:
- with a burning desire to succeed
- with some financial resources – some capital
- who understand that they need to invest in their future
- who typically have been high achievers and somewhat successful in their career

Here are just a few ideas on the type of people you can target. There are many ways to attract customers to your business, just make sure they are the right people.
- Existing or former business owners
- Real estate investors and realtors
- Network marketing or MLMers, Internet Marketers, Affiliates Marketers
- Corporate Executives, or successful corporate career people
- CEO, VP, Directors, Managers
- Sales executives and high earning sales people
Many of these people are used to making good money, but they don’t have the time to enjoy it. They are working hard for the same amount of money they can make with your offer.
