Take A Break
Entrepreneurs that own and run their own businesses understand that bringing in
revenue is directly tied to their hard work and tenacity. Because of this, it’s not uncommon for business owners to pull long hours and overextend themselves in an effort to remain competitive. Can you believe this might be counterintuitive?
Believe it. Working smarter, not harder, can lead to increased productivity in the workplace. What this means is that instead of working all day without stopping to breathe, take a break! – or a few breaks – can help increase your focus and output.
If you work so hard that you find yourself crashing, perhaps it’s time to step away and rejuvenate. Taking a day or two off can help clear your head, relieve your stress, and allow you to return to your tasks fresh and with laser sharp focus. If you can’t spare a full day, some spare some time here and there throughout your day to forget about work for a minute or two, will do wonders for you!
Take A Break and Go For A Walk
If you find yourself becoming more and more wound up, step away, take a break from your tasks and go for a walk. Getting out into the fresh air, feeling the sunshine and enjoy your surroundings. Beyond getting a little exercise, you’ll be taking a much-needed time out from the stress of your work. This is a great way to help you collect your thoughts, find your balance, and allow you to return to your tasks methodically.
Take a Break and Read Something Funny
Laughter is the best medicine, and always a great way to take your mind off of the stress of your growing business.
Find a website that specializes in odd or funny news stories, participate in some stimulating forum discussion, or look at some funny pictures or videos. Bringing a smile to your face and laughing out your tension will help you clear your mind and break up your day. You may find yourself settling back into your work with a smile and a fresh focus.
Take a Break and Be Social, Share Your Break
Talking to a friend or a colleague can help give you some fresh perspective on your tasks at hand. When you take a break, reach out to somebody to have a quick chat about the day. It’s always nice to be social; your work will always be waiting.
You Deserve to Take A Break!
Working too hard and driving yourself into the ground can begin to affect your positivity. You can maintain a positive attitude when you take a break, knowing your limits, and learning how to step away. Remember, you don’t always have to put the pedal to the metal. Help yourself by stepping on the brakes and take a break, you deserve it!
Make it happen….Empower your Success!

If you want to take more breaks, spend more time with your family, have time to travel then having that time freedom is what you are looking for. I found this system to be exactly what has helped me do just that.
