Who’s Doing The ‘No Pants Subway Ride?’

On January 8th 2012, Hot women all around the world took off their pants and rode the Subway…

…Okay, okay, it wasn’t just hot women…

…Ugly people, attractive people, young people, old people, and everyone in between took off their pants and rode the subway on this historic occasion.  This ‘No Pants Subway Ride’ has been orchestrated by a prankster organization known as ‘Improv Everywhere.’

I don’t really know what their group is all about, but anyone that talks people into stripping down to their underpants to ride the subway is pretty damn cool in my book.  I wasn’t even aware that this epic event existed until I saw this picture on Facebook of my old friend Lauren Reeves:

As you can see, it wasn’t just attractive people that took off their pants for the Annual ‘No Pants Subway Ride.’  I’m not quite sure, but is that hairy dude in the background trying to ‘Put out the Vibe?’

Anyways, the funniest part about this picture is that Mike O’brien, a journalist with Mail Online News, had this to say about that photo of my old friend Lauren:

“A couple show off their legs while a statuesque woman, who may or may not be taking part, looks away.”

In other words, “Does this hottie wear booty shorts every day, or is she a part of the no pants subway ride?”  Well, to be honest Mike, I don’t know either.  Lauren is hot; I went on a few dates with her almost a decade ago now, but back then she wore pants in January, so I’m going to say, “Probably participating.”

When you read this Lauren, you’ll have to leave a comment and clear it up.  Last I heard you were Modeling in New York City(where this photo was taken); maybe New York City models ride the subway with no pants everyday…

…I for one would love to live in a world where they do.  I know its a long shot, but hell, can’t a man have a fantasy?

‘No Pants Subway Ride’ Goes Worldwide

In 2002, Improv Everywhere began the tradition of the ‘No Pants Subway Ride.’  This is the 11th annual ride, and what started with a few pant-less pranksters in NYC, now has over 50 cities around the world that are participating…

…Amsterdam, Prague, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, London, Melbourne, Madrid, Miami, Vancouver and Milan, just to name a few… There are videos all over Youtube showcasing these underwear avengers from all around the globe.  In Chicago, the police kicked them off the train(lame).

I’ve gotta say, it looks like a pretty fun event. My favorite holiday is Halloween; now thanks to Improv Everywhere, there are two days a year that Women are encouraged to wear practically Nothing and prance around. Thank you Improv Everywhere, even though I wasn’t there I respect your cause.

Maybe next year I’ll have to fly to one of these cites just to take off my pants in support of your mission…

…Wait, nevermind; I’m usually rocking commando, so if I participated I would end up getting arrested. The last thing I need is to get thrown in jail with my pants already off.

Oh, and just to clear Lauren’s name, here is a picture of her wearing pants, so apparently she doesn’t ride the subway in her underwear, or booty shorts every day:

I’m not sure what kind of Lesbian Cow Girl dance she is doing here, but she is definitely wearing pants.  What do you have to say about that Mike O’brien?

Terrifying Dangers of the ‘No Pants Subway Ride’

Stuff like this happens; no further explanation needed:

Well, it looks like the 2012 annual No Pants Subway Ride was a raging success, and fun for all. Remember, next January if you want to take off your pants and ride the subway, people won’t even think you are creepy or slutty because everyone is doing it. Just remember not to take of your pants if you are going commando.

I’d like to think that they will orchestrate a ‘Nude Subway Ride’ sometime in the future, but I don’t think Improv Everywhere has managed to pull that off yet, and if I were you I wouldn’t pioneer the idea solo; people might get the wrong idea.
