Moving a 80 m House

This went around the world.
Swiss people moved a 80 meter long house. It took them 2 days to move it 60 meters. Swiss television was live present most of the time and people could follow it and comment it on Twitter and Facebook. I think that was the first time they used new media together with the old one and I’m sure they wanna use it again.
They could move it 6 centimeters and then had to stop to re-adjust the pushing devices then again 6 centimeters. It’s amazing what people can do when they put their mind to it. This also convinces me that the human kind drives on challenges.
