MLM Prospecting: Overcoming Fear

If you want success in MLM you need to engage in MLM prospecting, there are no “if, ands and buts” about it.
I know there are some super gurus who pull it off without MLM prospecting but they do that NOW and not before they become famous.
On the road to network marketing fame, they MLM prospected.
Okay, okay, okay Chris, you made your point so let’s get into discussing ways of overcoming fear of MLM prospecting.
Before we jump into it, let me point out we all have fear to overcome, I had it, especially when it came to talking with family, but now, I am “bulletproof”. I am willing to talk to anyone, anytime.
There are four things I recommend that you do to become “bullet proof”.
1. Personal Development
This takes time to take effect but study books by Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, T. Harv Eker, etc. Listen to DVDs, watch videos, attend seminars. The stronger your skill set becomes, the more you will believe in yourself, the more confidence you will have.
2. Increase your belief
One of the best ways to get excited is to learn more about your product / service. Go to your company’s website, watch videos, and read about your product / service. Another great way is to go to company events. This is extremely important. There is nothing like listening and interacting in live presentations and also being surrounded by like minded people who understand and believe in your company’s product / service.
Another part of belief in yourself. I do something daily that will sound corny but I do not care, I rather be corny and rich than broke and cool. I do affirmations a few times a day. I put my hand on my heart and say “I will be Pro 10 in LifeVantage (highest rank).
The point is I am making my subconscious believe it is possible. I am allowing my spirit to manifest it!
3. Listen to Testimonials
It is always fascinating to listening people who use your company’s product / service. It will motivate you and increase your belief.
4. I learned this from my friend Cesar Rodriguez (great guy and master MLM prospector). Whenever he felt in doubt and/or fear about MLM prospecting a potential partner, he would ask himself, “what would I do if I was 10 times bolder?”.
I absolutely love that and I have been trying to apply that in not only my MLM prospecting but if life as well.
Next time you are about to walk away from a situation, stop and ask yourself, “what would I do, if I was 10 times bolder”. I guarantee if you apply this principle your results will improve.
Apply these tips above and your fear of MLM prospecting will go away and you will become “bulletproof”!
