So you want to know how to get on the first page of google well you’re in the right place at the right time because not only am I going to reveal the formula for first page domination I’m also going to give you the keys to the google kingdom.

Before we get stuck into the formula for how to get on the first page of google I first want to cover why someone would want to get on the first page of google in the first place and the obvious answer is that you can drive targeted traffic to a lead capture page which will allow you to generate targeted leads and build a list so you can ultimately sell them stuff and make some money.

If you’ve been trying to get on the first page of google for some time now but you just can’t seem to get on the first page let alone rank in google then you are missing a piece of the google puzzle.

High Authority Site: When it comes to getting on the first page of google you can’t just use any old site and think you can get on the first page “no” you need to use a site that has a lot of authority in googles eyes.

So what do I mean by high authority well basically google has a way of determining the authority a site has and google calls this “page rank”, the higher the page rank of a site the better chance you will have a getting on the first page so instead of posting your content on a site with no authority do some research and find a high page ranked site and post your content on that.

In order to determine the page rank of a site download the SEO BOOK Tool bar it’s free and an awesome tool for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Keyword Research: Once you’ve found a site with high authority your ready for the next step of the formula for how to get on the first page of google and that’s good old keyword research.

Keyword research will be the make and break factor in you successfully getting on the first page of google because you need to find keywords that have less competition so you can stand a chance of ranking.

So with keyword research you need to find keywords that are within your niche that have enough searches per month to even bother trying to rank for and you need your keywords to have low competition so you stand a fighting chance.

For keyword research you can use the free Google External Keyword Tool or if you want to take your keyword research to a whole new level the best tool I’ve found for this is the Keyword Magnet.

On Page Optimization: Now that you’ve done your keyword research and you’ve compiled your keywords it now time to create content such as articles, blog posts, videos, etc but the next step of the formula on how to get on the first page of google is on page optimization.

Now what do I mean by that? Well it’s basically putting your keywords in the right places on your content for example if you’re creating a blog post like I am here you need to put the keyword in the URL, the title, in a heading 1,2 and 3, bold, italic and underlined, in the alternative text of an image, in the first and last sentence of your post and sprinkle your keyword throughout your content without being spamming.
